RECENT CONTRACT AWARDS

Fallsway Housing & Service Center. Under this contract, Roy Kirby & Sons will completely renovate the Baltimore City Historical Transportation Department Building and convert the space to a housing center for Baltimore City's homeless. As part of the project, a third floor will be added to the existing structure.

Violetville Elementry School. This $13.9 million, two-year contract for the Baltimore City Public Schools involves demolition of portions of the existing school to enable construction of a new two story masonry addition. A complete renovation of this 1920s-era school is also planned.

Dogwood Elementry School. Planned for completion in December, 2009, this $1.4 million project for the Baltimore County Public School system involves construction of a two-classroom addition, along with a second floor mezzanine to house a new mechanical room.

Centreville Parking Garage. Under this contract award, Roy Kirby & Sons will construct a one level precast parking deck for the Centreville District Courthouse in downtown Centreville, MD. The project is planned for completion in January, 2010.
